CIS 4596 - Cybersecurity Capstone CIS 4596 - Cybersecurity Capstone Includes in-depth theory of the practical implementation of core security concepts, practices, monitoring and compliance in the full panorama of IS management. Through the use of a risk-based approach, the Information Systems Security Officer is able to implement and maintain cost-effective security controls that are closely aligned with both business and industry standards. Prepares the student for the Mile2 C)ISSO certification exam. The C)ISSO is an FBI Tier III preferred degree and work experience extended certificate. The C)ISSO certification has been validated by the NSA CNSSI-4012, National Information Assurance as well as the Training Standard for Senior System Managers and NSTISSI - 4011, National Training Standard for Information Systems Security (INFOSEC).
