BIOL 286 — Restoration Research - Native Plant Communities
The abundance of collaborative ecological restoration projects across the Olympic Peninsula presents unique opportunities to learn about ecological recovery in the Pacific Northwest. This class will apply restoration concepts and skills to locally active revegetation projects. Using field research methods, students will address scientific questions relevant to active local revegetation projects. Some classes will include spending significant time outdoors and walking over occasionally uneven terrain. BOT 101 and BIOL 285 recommended but not required. This class may include students from multiple sections. (Formerly BIOL 291D, Elective)
