MUS1035 — History of Jazz ♦
This course is designed to cover the origins, developments and current trends in the jazz idiom through the study of its musical practices, important recordings and American and African-American social and musical cultures. Individual travel to performances in and around the area is a requirement of this course. ♦ This is a General Education course transferable within the Tennessee Board of Regents system.
