HEA 110 — C 2 x 3 = 6

Totals - - - 11 - 23 Divide: 23 divided by 11 equals 2.09 Your grade point average is 2.09 Explanation of Incomplete Grades A student who has a documented emergency situation and is unable to meet the attendance requirements may receive a grade of I (Incomplete) upon approval by the instructor, the Chair, and the Vice President of Instructional Services. A grade of “I” must be removed by completing the required work no later than 8 weeks after the last day of classes as designated in the academic calendar in the semester in which the grade of “I” was given; otherwise, a grade of “F” will be computed in the GPA. There may be extenuating circumstances approved by the instructor and the Vice President of Instructional Services to extend the completion period. Courses with “I” grades are not used in computing grade point averages; however, a student with an Incomplete is not eligible for the President’s List or the Academic Distinction designation. Grade Reports Students’ grades will be posted after each semester in Self-Service, the College’s online portal for student information. Academic Warning First Warning - A student with a grade point average less than 2.0 will be placed on academic warning, will be notified of their academic standing, and will be advised to meet with a counselor. A possible reduction in course load to part-time status may be required. Second Warning - A second consecutive academic warning will require an evaluation of the student’s progress. This review
