, , HSC2531 (with a grade of C or higher) Corequisites: and or HIM1610C (with a grade of C or higher) This course will introduce the student to the scope of practice of the medical information coder/biller. Emphasis will be on the structure and origin of the ICD-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding systems along with their basic rules and regulations.
