FIN3400 — Principles of Financial Management (BAS)
ACG2022 (with a grade of C or higher), Admission to the BAS Supervision and Management program or consent of the department This is an introductory course in managerial finance in which the student should attain a clear, basic understanding of the fundamentals of finance and their association to the decision-making framework faced by a financial manager who is charged with maximizing shareholders' wealth. Topics include: financial statement analysis, financial planning and forecasting, time value of money, risk and rates of return, asset valuation, capital budgeting, capital structure, dividend policy and working capital management.
