FIL2002 — Introduction to Film Studies (AA)
FIL2000 (with a grade of C or higher) This course will serve as an introduction to the techniques of academic film analysis and criticism. A survey of key contributors to film theory and film criticism will provide an in-depth examination of film as an art form. Discussion will involve artistic influences and movements; their effect on the medium will be another key component of study.
