EET1025C (with a grade of C or higher) Students will study the history of electronics, semiconductors, diodes, diode rectifier circuits, zener, varactor, light emitting diodes (LED) and special diodes, bipolar transistors, small signal transistor amplifiers, power transistor amplifiers, and amplifier frequency response. The course also covers the design unregulated power supplies, transistor audio amplifiers, audio power amplifiers, audio oscillators, limiters, clampers and several other important circuits.
