WELD2003 — Restricted Pipe and Tube
This course prepares the student for restricted "R" testing on pipe and tube in the following positions: 2GR, 5GR, 6GR. This is a rigorous curriculum provided for those individuals who desire to upgrade their skills and better prepare for restricted testing methods using a combination of SMAW and GTAW on pipe and tube. The student will be tasked to perform welding practices in field readiness simulators. Evaluation of progress will be assessed using destructive/nondestructive mock testing methods derived from nationally recognized agencies. This will ensure that the student is ready for their career in welding.
