WELD1023 — Structural Fillets II
In this course, students will develop and advance their skill-set into GMAW and Flux-cored processes. Students will continue to learn how to properly prepare metal for cutting and weld operations. This includes cleaning and grinding on basic weld joint configurations. Using GMAW and flux-core processes students are expected to successfully weld overlapping beads, Horizontal fillet welds(2F), Vertical fillet welds (3F), and Overhead fillet welds (4F). The student will be introduced to welding procedure and evaluated by various weld testing methods to ensure development.
