WELD1016 — Welding for Manufacturing
Students will be introduced to GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding). The students will become proficient with both processes welding fillet welds as well as, open root groove welds. Our students will continue to use the oxy-acetylene torch, become more advanced in processing and preparing material, preparing coupons for testing, and reading basic WPS. As an end goal, students shall be able to meet AWS D1.1 standards.
