SURG1214 — Clinical Practicum II
This course is a continuation of SURG with a focus on moderately complex surgical cases. An increased level of proficiency is achieved in all areas of the operating room. It includes supervised clinical experience in the application of learned theory and principles, more complex procedures, aseptic techniques, safe practices, and beginning skills of sterilization and disinfection. Students will be assigned to cases in the operating room where they will learn to become proficient in their skills.
