HIT2003 — Fundamentals of Medical Transcription
The transcription practices in this course are based on current practices reflective of the medical transcription/health information management professional fields. Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is needed before taking this course. Proper formatting of documents, proofing and accuracy as well as problem solving of dictation errors are addressed.
Prerequisites: HIT1303, BIOL1204
