HIT1013 — Computer Applications for Healthcare Professionals
This course will provide students with a knowledge and understanding of various computer applications and information systems that are encountered in health information departments including the use of hardware and software in data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting. This course will also cover confidentiality and security measures to protect the electronic health record (EHR) as well as the importance of data quality, entry, integrity, and reliability.
