They will complete a ten-hour OSHA safety orientation that explains job site hazards, incident prevention, and standard safety procedures. Students will be introduced to welding using the SMAW process, while developing and advancing their skill-set into GMAW and Flux-cored. Students will learn to properly prepare metal for cutting and weld operations. This includes cleaning and grinding on basic weld joint configurations.
