The Community Behavioral Health Worker Certificate of Achievement prepares students for entry-level positions in the behavioral/mental health field. This program is designed for students who are interested in working with people with mental illness or substance use disorders. Students will have a foundational understanding of the mental health field and will learn the basic counseling skills to work with this population. All of these courses are also part of the Addictive Disorders Studies Certificate of Achievement and aligned with C-ID.
