Theater Arts, Associate in Arts Degree
The Theater Arts Department provides opportunities to study the art and the craft of theater. Students who enroll in the Associate in Arts in Theater Arts for Transfer degree are encouraged to develop academic and artistic skills through coursework and production opportunities enabling them to be successful in further study or employment. Students are introduced to theatrical history and literature, performance, design/technology, and management, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through theatrical production assignments. Students will be prepared to transfer into the CSU system to complete a baccalaureate degree in Theater Arts.
