Studies the roles of informatics and analytics in today’s business environment and explores the trends that are related to big data. Uses data to support effective decision-making process in a wide range of business contexts. Topics include research methods in informatics; big data management and analytics; predictive analytics; recognizing data patterns and trends; and information ethics, law and policy.
