FILM271 — Film Producing II
Students will examine the role and responsibilities of the film producer during the stages of post-production and distribution of an independent film. Topics will include effective strategies for crowdfunding and the traditional and emerging distribution platforms, marketing and distributing independent films. Students will develop practical working knowledge by forming production companies and applying knowledge to real-world scenarios. Formerly DRMA 271 Prerequisite: FILM 270 5 hours Lecture
