Completed Need In Progress Guided Pathways Guided Pathways is a framework that supports Ohlone’ s commitment to “Students First!” The Guided Pathways framework centers on supporting student success by focusing on making degree completion and transfer more equitable, accessible, and transparent, as well as having more student-centered approaches to support services and resources. One of the key concepts of the Guided Pathways framework to support student success are the Four Pillars of Guided Pathways. The Four Pillars are Clarify the Path, Enter the Path, Stay on the Path, and Ensure Learning. These Four Pillars provide intentional focus and direction for how Ohlone College can create more equitable, accessible, and transparent pathways to support student success. Interest Areas To address the Guided Pathways Pillars, Ohlone has categorized its degrees and certificates into Interest Areas. Interest Areas are a collection of degrees and certificates that lead to similar career pathways or have similar learning objectives, outcomes, content, and/or resources. Six Interest Areas have been identified by Ohlone students and faculty and have been endorsed by the Ohlone College Faculty Senate.
