XKD7016 — KOC - Yoga for Kids
XKD 7016 -- Yoga for Kids 8 Contact Hours (Offered as needed) Explore your flexibility, strength, coordination, and self-awareness in this fun class that weaves basic yoga principles together with fun fitness moves. Each day, we will build on basic postures to create a flowing yoga sequence that you can do at home! Plus, each class will incorporate some teamwork, basic balancing poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation skills. No previous yoga experience is required – even if you can’t bend to touch your toes, we respect what each person is capable of and will still have fun! What we do ask is that you wear comfortable clothing that you can move in, shoes that you can take off if you’d like (a lot of people like to do yoga barefoot!), and a towel or yoga mat.
