PMT 0136C - Gas Tungsten Arc / Shielded Metal Arc (Combo) Pipe Welding 10 Credit Hours, 300 Clock Hours (Offered Fall and Spring) This course emphasizes principles of welding pipe using the gas tungsten arc (GTAW) process combined with the shielded metal arc (SMAW) process. Fabrication and welding of various size and thickness pipe in the 2, 5, and 6 G positions. *Vocational courses are not applicable to the A.A. or A.S. degree or to the College Credit Certificate without an approved articulation agreement. Vocational courses, offered in clock hours, are courses that can be used for the awarding of Career and Technical or Vocational Certificates. In addition, vocational courses may be articulated to college credit and applied to college credit certificates or A.S. degree programs.
