MEA 0942 -- Medical Assisting Practicum Experience 200 Clock Hours (Offered Summer) This course supports students in their transition from the classroom to the role of a Medical Assistant. Students will complete a supervised, unpaid placement in an ambulatory healthcare setting, applying the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program. Guided by experienced mentors, students will perform administrative, clinical, and laboratory tasks, gaining hands-on experience and confidence as they prepare to enter the healthcare workforce. Prerequisites: MEA 0543, MEA 0581, MEA 0530, MEA 0573 Corequisite: MEA 0506
