MAC 1114 -- Trigonometry 3 Credit Hours (Offered Fall, Spring, Summer) This is the second course in a Pre-calculus sequence which includes the following topics: definitions, graphs, and properties of the six trigonometric functions and their inverses; trigonometric identities; solving trigonometric equations; solving right and oblique triangles and applications; complex numbers; vectors; and the polar coordinate system. Non-symbolic graphing calculators are required. The TI-83/84 Series is recommended. Prerequisite(s): completion of MAC 1140 with a grade of “C” or better or equivalent; or appropriate placement score. This course may be taken concurrently with MAC 1140.
