CAI1020 — Artif. Intelligence Ethics
CAI 1001 – Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics 3 Credit Hours (Offered Spring, Summer, and Fall) The study of ideas and their logical structure, including arguments and investigations about abstract and real phenomena pertaining to Artificial Intelligence and its applications. The course includes logic, aesthetics, epistemology, metaphysics, symbolism and applications to the theoretical foundations and methods as applied in the use and development of Artificial Intelligence in various disciplines. Students will explore the basic building blocks and components of AI and the problems created, aggravated, or transformed by its use. It is intended that students will reflect on the ethical, social, and cultural impact of AI by focusing on the issues by and brought about by professionals in the field, society, and various institutions.
