TRAL 1003 - Introduction to Sustainable Trails TRAL 1003 - Introduction to Sustainable Trails Description This course introduces: sustainable trails, the history and evolution of the trail system in the US and the EU/UK; types of trails and their uses; trails and economic development; outdoor recreation; conservation; skills and knowledge required; stakeholders in trail construction and maintenance; career pathways; and the history, industry, and culture of mountain trail biking.
