(PO1) Obtain awareness on the importance of therapeutic communication, group therapy leadership skills, and collaboration of teamwork to meet the patient’s health care goal and needs of the diverse patients experiencing common mental health conditions/disorders. (PO2) Discuss self-knowledge gained through reflection on one’s own beliefs and values in building and enhancing the nurse-client relationship to provide safe, high quality, evidence based nursing care of diverse patients experiencing common mental health conditions/disorders. (PO3) Recognize therapeutic use of self, therapeutic communication skills and understanding of mental health issues across the lifespan for patients experiencing common mental health conditions/disorders.
