GLST 2003 - Global Studies GLST 2003 - Global Studies Description This course introduces students to the core concepts and issues in global and international studies. It examines the global scope of critical phenomena such as war, conflict, migrations, culture, development, health, resources, and the environment. The course content is interdisciplinary and allows students to investigate the links among the social sciences, STEM, the arts, and the humanities. This course provides a structured global study experience. Topics may include STEM, history, religion, geography, philosophy, literature, anthropology, sociology, culture, fine arts, culinary, language, environment, sustainability, and other relevant topics. The course includes a short-term study abroad experience, international internship, or service-learning component with additional fees for travel. Hours: Directed Elective.
