Practical Nursing - Limited Enrollment, Technical Diploma < Nunez Community College
The Practical Nursing (PN) Program is designed to prepare students to become Licensed Practical Nurses. Students spend the first part of the program building the foundations of nursing care in the classroom and laboratory setting. As the program progresses, it provides clinical learning experiences under the direct supervision of qualified instructors. At the end of the program, the curriculum begins to focus on the profession of nursing and preparing the student for the licensing process. Graduates of the Practical Nursing Program are eligible to apply to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Practical Nurses.
