NURA 1301 - Nurse Aide for Healthcare NURA 1301 - Nurse Aide for Healthcare 3 credit hours Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Two hours of lecture and three hours of lab each week. Knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities. Topics include residents’ rights, communication, safety, observation, reporting and assisting residents in maintaining basic comfort and safety. Emphasis on effective interaction with members of the health care team, restorative services, mental health, and social services needs. (Fall, Spring, Summer) Note: Additional course fee(s) required.
