MUSI 1312 - Music Theory II MUSI 1312 - Music Theory II 3 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of class each week To be taken concurrently with MUSI 1117 The study of analysis and writing of tonal melody and diatonic harmony, including all diatonic chords and seventh chords in root position and inversions, non-chord tones, and functional harmony. Introduction to more complex topics, such as modulation, may occur. Optional correlated study at the keyboard. Note: Scholarships are available to deserving students, regardless of major. Interested students should contact the music faculty advisor for audition times and details.
