MLAB 2401 - Clinical Chemistry MLAB 2401 - Clinical Chemistry 4 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Three hours of online lecture and four hours of lab each week. Presents the physiological basis for the test, the principle basis for the test, the principle and procedure for the test, and the clinical significance of the test results, including quality control and reference values. Also includes basic chemical laboratory technique. Chemical laboratory safety, electrolytes and acid-base balance, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, enzymes, metabolites, endocrine function, and toxicology. (Fall) Note: Additional course fee(s) required.
