MAT 1134 - Pre-College Algebra MAT 1134 - Pre-College Algebra 4 Credit Hours This course combines beginning and intermediate algebra, which includes evaluating and simplifying algebraic expressions, solving linear equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations in two variables, applying the rules of integer exponents, performing operations on polynomials, factoring polynomials, solving quadratic equations, performing operations on rational expressions, and solving rational equations. The student should make a grade of “C” or higher to advance to MAT 1313.
