PLMB 2153 — Venting, Pumps, & Traps
This course provides a detailed study of venting drainage systems, focusing on the materials required for venting above and below ground levels, vent types, and proper slopes to ensure optimal system performance. Students will also explore the operation, i nstallation, and maintenance of sump pumps, sewage pumps, and sewage ejectors. Additionally, the course covers plumbing traps, their function, and proper installation to prevent sewer gas intrusion. By the end of the course, students will have a thorough u nderstanding of advanced drainage and venting systems, preparing them for complex plumbing projects.
