PLMB 1093 — Fixtures, Faucets, and Devices
In this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various plumbing fixtures commonly used in residential and commercial settings. Chapter 10 covers essential fixtures such as water closets (toilets), urinals, bidets, sinks, lavatories , drinking fountains, water coolers, bathtubs, and showers. Students will learn the specifications, installation requirements, and maintenance practices for each fixture. Chapter 11 delves into the components of faucets used in lavatories, showers, bathtubs, and other applications. Students will explore the function and design of faucet parts, gaining practical knowledge of how to install, repair, and maintain faucets to ensure proper functionality and water efficiency.
