PLMB 1073 — Math for the Plumbing Career
This course provides a foundational understanding of the essential math and geometry skills needed for successful plumbing work. In Chapter 4, students will master basic arithmetic, including decimals and fractions, to handle everyday measurements, materia l calculations, and blueprint readings with precision. Chapter 9 explores key geometric concepts such as squares, square roots, circles, angles, 45-degree offsets, and right triangles, focusing on their application in plumbing design and installation. By t he end of the course, students will be equipped with the mathematical tools necessary to accurately measure, calculate, and design plumbing systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the field.
