MATH 1300 — Contemporary Mathematics

This course is designed as an introduction to topics in contemporary mathematics. Topics will vary but may include problem solving and reasoning, set theory and Venn diagrams, perspective and symmetry in art, graph theory, elementary number theory, optimiz ation, numeracy in the real world, geometry, and apportionment and voting methods.
