General Studies Program
In either format, the purpose of our General Studies Program is to provide a solid, cross-disciplinary foundation in both knowledge and skills to prepare students to be more well-rounded individuals as they navigate their communities and the society around them. The Associate of General Studies (AGS) degree consists of 30 required credits in specific general education courses. The remaining 30 credits are electives which should be selected with consideration of your ultimate educational goal.
