ENGL2010 — British Literature

This course is designed to introduce students to the literature of the British Isles and its major characteristics and stylistic periods, as well as an introduction to the basic themes, terms, and approaches intrinsic to the literature of the British Isles/ In this course, students will be exposed to representative works from major periods of British and Irish literature. Each reading assignment will be discussed in class and supplemented with lectures, notes, and assignments.

Prerequisites: ENGL-1025
