CIS 245 - Database Management Concepts CIS 245 - Database Management Concepts Lecture: 3 Introduction to database management systems (DBMS) where students use Structured Query Language (SQL) and other management tools to define, manipulate, and retrieve data from a DBMS. Students also learn common administrative tasks related to user management, authentication, stored procedures, and backup/restore strategies. Prerequisite: CIS 105 or CIS 107 or instructor permission
