Northland’s Early Childhood Certificate program builds the foundational skills needed to begin working in childcare and early learning settings. In just 18 credits, you’ll gain practical knowledge in child growth and development, behavior guidance, health and safety, nutrition, and creating engaging learning environments. This program prepares you for entry-level roles working with young children and families, while also providing a strong foundation to continue your education in early childhood or related fields.
