COOP 1110 - Cooperative Education I Add to Catalog COOP 1110 - Cooperative Education I Cooperative Education I enables students to gain actual work experience in a chosen field and to receive both academic credit and potential monetary compensation while doing so. The primary objective is to prepare the student for immediate employment upon graduation. Note: Prior to registering for the course, the student must contact the Dean of Advanced Technologies or the Dean of Business Technologies and their co-op advisor to receive an identified assignment with an appropriate employer. A maximum of 8 credit hours may be earned toward degree requirements (maximums for individual majors may vary), and this course may be repeated more than once. Credit distribution is as follows: 1 credit/10 hours of work/week/semester; 2 credits/20 hours of work/week/semester; 3 credits/30 hours of work/week/semester; 4 credits/40 hours of work/week/semester. -4 -4 Semester: Variable Delivery Method: Traditional 80 overall GPA with a 3.00 GPA in the major.
