RADS2440 — Radiologic Procedures/Seminar 4
Academic Division: Health Sciences Academic Discipline: Radiological Sciences Assistant Dean: Leesa Cox, MBA, PTA 3 Credit(s) Radiographic procedures of the skull, sinuses and facial bones will be introduced. Methods for imaging pediatric patients will be explored. Students will learn to modify positioning protocols for trauma patients and recognize trauma pathology on radiographs. Laboratory exercises in an energized lab provide the student with practical application of the classroom material. Radiation protection is emphasized. Medical terminology is correlated with the content of the course. Radiographic pathology of the respiratory, cardiovascular and central nervous system will be included.
