ST120 — Fundamentals of Surgical Technology I
Apply the principles of medical and surgical asepsis in the operating room. Topics covered include the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, identification, care and handling of surgical instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment. Develop basic skills of the surgical technologist in preparation for, and during, operative procedures.
