RN202 — Adult Nursing II
This course focuses on advanced concepts of nursing care for adult patients with complex multi-system medical-surgical health alterations. Emphasis is placed on incorporating clinical judgment while managing patients with multiple needs while communicating and collaborating with the healthcare team. Complex clinical skills, priority setting, integrating evidence-based practice, health equity, and tenets of legal and ethical practice are incorporated throughout the course. Clinical experiences provide the students with an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe care for patients in a variety of settings.
