MF227 — Introduction to 3D Printing
This course provides awareness and familiarization with 3D printing, an additive manufacturing process. Students will learn how it can be used in rapid pro-typing, customizable product lines and individualized medical appliances. Students will also learn how to become “makers” through the use of 3D modeling software and 3D printers. Students will design and then print physical objects using what they learn in the course. Students will also participate in educational outreach at North Central Missouri College and the community to pass on some of what they have learned.
