The course encompasses an introduction to literature, painting, music, sculpture and architecture, as well as the discipline of philosophy presented as interrelated and integrated manifestation of human creativity. Employing methodologies associated with the study of cultural and intellectual history, the course seeks to create an understanding of why we are the way we are.
