HI204 — World History Since 1600
An introductory survey course of the history of the world and of world civilizations since the Renaissance/Reformation era. This course includes examinations of the social, cultural, political, religious, and economic institutions and traditions of industrial civilizations with emphasis on regional and global interactions. The focus of this course is the development of civilizations during and following the Industrial Revolution, including its byproducts such as: industrialization, democratization, imperialism, global wars, globalization, and modernization. Social and Behavioral Sciences credit.
