HI203 — World History to 1600
An introductory survey course of the history of the world and of world civilizations from ancient times to the Renaissance and Reformation era. This course includes examinations of the social, cultural, political, religious, and economic institutions and traditions of pre-industrial civilizations with emphasis on regional and global interactions. The focus of this course is the development of civilizations prior to the Industrial Revolution. Social and Behavioral Sciences credit.
