CD213 — Exploring Science & Math in the Early Childhood Setting

This course covers theoretical foundation for teaching science and mathematics in the early childhood setting. Strategies for implementing, nurturing, assessing and supporting early childhood science and math learning environments will be covered. Concepts covered are based on the national Science Education Standards (NSES), the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), Principles and Standards for School Mathematics and Missouri Early Learning Goals (MELS).
